Salute for Service Prize Draw is a trade promotion conducted by Salute for Service Australia Ltd A.C.N 639 453 188 (‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’). The Prize Draws are conducted to increase the Salute for Service brand awareness as a company dedicated to supporting Australian veterans transitioning into civilian life.
1.2 For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply: “Commencement Date” is 26/01/2025. “Closing Date” is 26/03/2025. “Draw Date” is 28/03/2025.
1.3 General Prize Draw Terms & Conditions” means this document. “Terms and Conditions” means these General Prize Draw Terms & Conditions and any other document incorporated by reference in these terms and conditions. A reference in the Terms and Conditions to the singular includes the plural and vice versa. “Prize” means the following: Toyota Hilux Rogue 2024 - valued at $86,182.16
1.4 Prize Draw means this prize draw conducted by us to promote the Salute for Service business activities. “Salute for Service Platform” means the platform operated by Salute for Service providing access to various tools, resources and services.
1.5 The Terms and Conditions apply to all entries into and/or prizes awarded in a Prize Draw, and we reserve the right to change the Prize Terms and Conditions at any time without notice, subject to relevant state/territory legislation approval, by posting such changes on our website https://saluteforservice.org.au.
1.6 The laws of the various states/territories in which the Prize Draws are conducted apply to the conduct of the Prize Draws and the Terms and Conditions.
1.7 By using this site or application or entering into any Prize Draw, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions and any amendments to the Terms & Conditions as posted to our website.
1.8 If any of these Terms & Conditions are found to be invalid or unenforceable, that invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the Terms & Conditions, which will continue in full force and effect.
2.1A Subject to the following conditions, you are invited to enter into the Prize Draw by visiting hiluxgiveaway.saluteforservice.org.au
2.1B The Prize Draw will open at 12:01 am AEST on the Commencement Date and close at 11:59 pm AEST on the Closing Date.
2.2 A person wishing to enter the Prize Draw must correctly complete the details required at the time of entry (“Entry Details”) on hiluxgiveaway.saluteforservice.org.au so that we can assess eligibility. Participants will enter via hiluxgiveaway.saluteforservice.org.au, where personal details such as name, contact information, and service status will be collected. Service status will be confirmed by DVA card number or PMKeyS. The person whose details are provided with the Entry Details will be the person to whom prizes will be transferred and who is deemed to have agreed to and accepted these Terms and Conditions so far as they apply to entry into the Prize Draw.
2.3 Entry in the Prize Draw is open only to veterans who hold a DVA card or are currently serving members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and meet the following criteria (“Eligible Person”): (a) a resident of Australia. (b) persons who are at least 18 years old. (c) persons who are not Ineligible Persons
2.4 The following persons are ineligible for entry in the Prize Draws (“Ineligible Persons”): (a) a member of our management committee, including our board of directors and executive management; (b) our employees or employees of our subsidiaries; (c) all other parties (and their employees and agents) directly engaged in conducting the Prize Draw; (d) a family member of a person caught by paragraphs (a) and (b), including spouses, de facto spouses, parents, step-parents, siblings, step-siblings, children and adopted children.
2.5 It is your responsibility as an entrant in a Prize Draw to ensure that you are eligible under all applicable laws to accept the prize should you win the Prize Draw.
2.6 We reserve the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with the Terms and Conditions.
2.7 All prize values are listed in Australian currency.
2.8 By entering into the Prize Draw, an entrant agrees to provide photographs or other media with any prize won in a Prize Draw as reasonably requested of them and also to permit us to film content of the entrant with the prize for reasonable promotional purposes.
2.9 By entering into the Prize Draw, an entrant agrees not to make any defamatory or derogatory comments on any social media platforms or other public forum against us, the Prize Draw, any prizes or anything incidental to the Prize Draw.
3.1 The Prize Draw will be conducted at 12:00 pm AEST on the Draw Date (28/03/2025) at 32 Wright Place, Algester, QLD, 4115.
3.2 The winner(s) will be contacted within 48 hours in writing by email and announced on our social media pages. The winner of the Prize Draw agrees to have their details published (first initial, last name, postcode) on hiluxgiveaway.saluteforservice.org.au
3.3 The Prize will be transferred to the winner(s) within 14 business days of the Draw Date unless otherwise agreed between the winner(s) and us.
3.4 All relevant delivery costs will be covered for winners within Australia. Insurance and additional costs are the responsibility of the winner(s).
3.5 If the winner(s) is/are a foreign resident, appropriate government approvals may be required, and all associated costs are the responsibility of the winner(s).
3.6 The winner(s) agrees to provide media content with the prize for promotional purposes.
3.7 The winner must be eligible under 2.3 of the Condition of Entry. If the winner fails to meet the eligibility requirements, the prize will be redrawn shortly after confirmation of ineligibility.
3.8 If the Prize is unclaimed for longer than 21 days from the Draw Date, a re-draw will occur on Friday, 18 April 2025, at 32 Wright Place, Algester, QLD 4115, by random draw selection, and a new winner will be selected and notified in writing within 7 days.
3.9 The winner of the unclaimed prize draw agrees to have their details published (first initial, last name, postcode) on hiluxgiveaway.saluteforservice.org.au within 30 days of the Prize Draw.

This content may include but is not limited to hyperlinks to external (third-party) websites or program sponsors. None of these things is to be taken as an endorsement, recommendation or approval of the third party, or sponsor or their products or services. We accept no responsibility for the accuracy, currency, suitability or otherwise regarding Third Party Content. 5.1 You agree that your participation in a Prize Draw constitutes an invitation for us to contact you in relation to, among other things, offering you tickets in future draws, matters relating to your entry and to notify you of the outcome of the relevant Prize Draw.
5.2 To enter a Prize Draw, you must supply at least one method of contact, and we reserve the right to send you service-related communications subject to our Privacy Policy, regardless of your contact preference. These service-related communications may include, by way of example only, updates to the Terms and Conditions to deliver tickets, updates to our privacy policy, and anything else required to administer the Prize Draw.

6.1 Any and all products, brand names, logos, images and/or trademarks as displayed or referred to on the Prize Draw website are owned by the respective trademark owners. We do not warrant to have an affiliation with any trademark owner referenced on this website who is not us.
6.2 We use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that information on this website is correct but we do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information provided and will not be held liable for any inaccuracy, omission, variation or error.
6.3 By entering a Prize Draw, you acknowledge that these terms and conditions provide adequate warning of eligibility requirements and alternative prize arrangements and afford a reasonable opportunity for you to seek your own independent legal advice prior to taking the transfer of the prize.
6.4 To the extent permitted by law, including pursuant to schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (‘Australian Consumer Law’), we shall not be liable for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature however occasioned to any person by, through or in connection with the Prize Draw (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage or personal injury).
6.5 We will not be liable to you or any winner for any financial consequences (including but not limited to any taxation liability (such as transfer duty) and/ or levy that may accrue to you or a winner, impact upon eligibility for or receipt of any pension, benefit allowance, superannuation or similar entitlement or any additional legal or other fees, including insurances on or after the transfer of any property) to you or the winner as a result of winning a prize.
7.1 Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or in connection with any Prize Draw must be resolved individually and not by any form of class action.
7.2 All entrants to a Prize Draw agree to participate in alternative dispute resolution, including but not limited to mediation, regarding any and all disputes, claims and causes of action before resorting to the commencement of legal proceedings.
8.1 If, for any reason, any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
